Next is the work log for September. Wow, I did a lot of work this month, from modeling to rendering to website iteration.
My works
Montano model
Montano is the result of a long-term plan of mine. I really like his appearance, and I want to use him as the main character for most of my POV renderings in the future.
So I started working on creating him and his variations.
During the production process, I was exhausted from the extensive texture conversion.
For specific steps, please refer to Docs. Therefore, I optimized the part that requires manual overlaying of textures.
I used ImageMagick in conjunction with a bat script that I wrote to quickly handle these steps and packaged a simple shader for fast node connection to achieve rapid material creation.
Maybe I will update the document next time I remember, but for now, I am too lazy to update. If you want to get the bat file, please DM me on discord and ask for it.
When making this model, I added a lot of new things to it, such as tattoo and eye color switching, body shape key switching. Maybe in the future, I will add changes to the skin texture so that it can have multiple skin tones.
While working on facial controls, I discovered that if the UI is loaded before creating facial morph controls, it will not function correctly after converting to a Rigify model. This issue is a bug in the UI and cannot currently be fixed. As a result, I had to revert back to previous versions and redo the work.

Veteran's warmth
After completing the model, of course, some projects need to be rendered. So this set of renderings came into being. In fact, it's Montano x Montano, very interesting.
The specific story is that Barrage (the hunk) attracted Shortguns, the new recruit, with his tightly wrapped body. So Shortguns boldly started to touch him.
Then Barrage counterattacked, gaining absolute initiative and enjoying the opponent's service.
Blow out
This is a private project, only available on Patreon. It is a birthday gift rendering for a friend, specifically Tek handing you a candle.
The tease
Also rendered as a birthday gift for a friend, this project was actually planned one month ago. During that time, several renders were discarded. The scene used is @Rigid3d's Mass Effect - Citadel Apartment.
Allure
This is the final piece of the puzzle for the 7/2023 Reward.
I realized that there was too much COD content in these two months, so I added some of my own ideas and created these renderings. The main focus is David enjoying Vittorio. Who doesn't like this handsome and cool old man with white hair and tattos?
In the early days, I thought of many poses, had them in the truck or on the car hood, but none of them worked well. So I ended up going back to the simplest position in front of the store counter.
Website updates
This is a big deal. As you can see, after Menfolk moved to the Docs, I started to reconstruct my website and rewrite the commission, animation, and model release pages, simultaneously migrate the blog to the Bu33y main site.
As of today's article release, the old blog page is still accessible, but the content will no longer be updated.
I have studied a lot of front-end knowledge, trying to achieve the best user experience. Yesterday, when I was writing the document, I added a comment system.
As of now, I feel good about myself.
Commission prices increase
While updating the website, I have increased my commission fees. Now the base price has increased by $5 compared to before. This is the second time I have raised prices. From 2021 to 2023, my prices have increased by $10, the specific content can be viewed on the corresponding page.
